APC to Reopen Online Membership Registration Nationwide on Monday

The All Progressives Congress is set to relaunch its electronic membership registration on Monday across all political wards in Nigeria.

In a statement, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, called on both existing members and new supporters to sign up on the APC digital platform.

“We invite all party stakeholders, supporters and members, old and new, to participate in the APC membership electronic-registration exercise,” the party said.
“The exercise will be conducted in all wards nationwide. Existing members are expected to validate their membership, while new and intending members are encouraged to register and join the progressive family.”

The APC said the move is part of its plan to modernise party structures, grow its grassroots base, and strengthen its numbers ahead of next year’s general elections.

To join, applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a valid National Identification Number. The party said the strict requirements are to prevent duplicate entries and ensure proper identity verification.

This is not the first time the APC is pushing a digital drive. Earlier in 2026, the party carried out similar revalidation exercises that captured millions of members. The goal then, and now, is to move away from paper records to a fully verified digital database that covers all 36 states and the FCT.

According to Morka, the new e-registration is meant to do more than just count members.
“The E-Registration Exercise is designed to digitise the party’s membership register, ensure the integrity of membership records, enhance efficient access to membership data for planning and management decisions, promote internal democracy, and strengthen the Party’s commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria,” he said.

The party says a clean, digital register will make it easier to plan, manage the party, and deepen internal democracy.
