Galatasaray Drop Osimhen Asking Price to €65m as Al Hilal Circle
By Victor Idajili

Galatasaray are willing to let Victor Osimhen go for €65 million, after Al Hilal signalled interest in the Nigerian striker, Turkish outlet Haberler reported, citing Sky Sports.
The Super Lig champions have set that fee as their baseline for any deal. Osimhen only completed a permanent switch to Galatasaray this summer after starring on loan from Napoli.
According to the report, Al Hilal have contacted Galatasaray to find out what it would take to sign the 26-year-old. But a move won’t happen without the player’s green light. The Saudi club will have to persuade Osimhen to leave Europe for the Saudi Pro League.
Al Hilal are said to be clearing space in their squad by offloading Karim Benzema, and are expected to push ahead with talks with Osimhen’s camp in the next few days.
If the deal doesn’t materialize, Osimhen will remain the focal point of Galatasaray’s attack as they chase a third consecutive Turkish league title. Sportingbet currently have Galatasaray as favourites at odds of 2.00, with Fenerbahce next at 2.75, followed by Besiktas at 7.00 and Trabzonspor at 12.00.
Since arriving in Turkey, Osimhen has been in top form, scoring 59 goals in 74 games for Galatasaray.
The title race looks tougher this season too. Trabzonspor have paired Paul Onuachu with Mohamed Salah, while Fenerbahce have added firepower in Mason Greenwood and Romelu Lukaku.
